Starch and Potassium Iodide Paper
These papers detect the presence of oxidising agents such as chlorine, nitrous acid and hydrogen peroxide. The papers turn to a deep blue colour when oxidising agents in acid solutions are detected. They are also of value for the determination of ‘end point’ in titrations using sodium nitrite solutions. Starch and Potassium Iodide Paper is available as books of 20 strips.

Starch Paper
These papers are specially prepared for the detection of iodine. Free iodine, which is frequently encountered in qualitative analysis, turns Starch Paper from white to a deep blue colour. Starch Paper is available as books of 20 strips. There are 10 books in a pack.

Humidity Indicator Paper
A Cobalt Chloride indicator paper manufactured to the requirements of DEF 81-132/1. These papers give a quantitative estimation of relative humidity. When the paper has been allowed to come into equilibrium with the ambient atmosphere, the colour changes over an RH range of 45-55%. Humidity Indicator Paper is available in a variety of sheet sizes.

Cobalt Chloride Test Papers
Cobalt Chloride Test Papers can be used in the detection of moisture. They can also be used to indicate when desiccants such as silica gel are exhausted. Cobalt chloride papers also have an application for the detection of moisture in the atmosphere, for example, crates containing machinery for transportation where the presence of moisture could induce deterioration by rust. Water Finder Paper
Water Finder Paper provides a quick and reliable method to detect water in solutions such as petrol, diesel and other non-miscible liquids. Apart from the detection of water in oil, petrol or diesel, water finder papers are suitable to work with other non-miscible solutions.

Lead Acetate Paper can be used in the Gas industry to determine the presence of sulphide in gas, plants, and sewers etc which give a grey to black stain on the paper.

Silver Estimating Indicator Papers
Silver Estimating Papers have been specially designed to estimate the quantity of silver present in photographic fixers. The colour chart supplied with the papers gives the silver concentration in grams per litre or ounces per gallon. This is of particular necessity in connection with hospital X-ray processing machines where silver recovery units are used.
